# Private networking

> Enable secure service-to-service communication within your Unkey project using private networking. Route internal traffic without exposure.

Each deployment instance runs in an isolated network namespace. Instances cannot communicate with other instances directly.

## Coming soon

Private networking will enable instances of the same deployment to communicate with each other over internal DNS without traversing the public internet.
